Who We Are CareerSpots is a Pennsylvania-based company that specializes in creating and producing original video content via the internet and other emerging technologies. Our dedicated team of highly experienced video producers, photographers, writers, researchers and career advisors creates "short stories" that people can relate to and find invaluable in their job search. CareerSpots founder Kathy Egan is a multi-award winning television reporter/anchor with 16+ years experience. Most recently, Kathy anchored the weekday, evening news for NBC in Philadelphia where she was called upon to testify before Congress for her Emmy award winning investigation of drugs on the internet. Kathy has also anchored and reported for CBS in Minneapolis, the ABC affiliate in Cincinnati and the ABC and CBS affiliates in Nashville. For the past few years, Kathy has run her own media consulting firm, assisting numerous clients with their public relations, media strategy and marketing needs.
