The Videos
Q: How long are most of the CareerSpots videos?
A: The videos are about 3 minutes to 3 minutes and 30 seconds in length.
Q: If we choose to license only 6 or 12 videos, do we get to choose which ones?
A: Yes.
Q: Are there actors in the videos?
A: No, actors do not appear in our videos. Everyone is a genuine recruiter, career director, student or recent graduate.
Q: Do the videos need to be password protected on our career center website?
A: No.
The License Process
Q: How long is the license agreement?
A: One year, unless we are running a promotion which we do once a year.
Q: Do you accept credit card payments?
A: Yes, we accept credit card payments and checks. We will also email you the video hyperlinks if you send us a PO, since payment will soon be forthcoming.
Q: How does the licensing process work?
A: Once CareerSpots receives your signed agreement and payment (or PO), we email you the information to access your school’s custom admin page where you will find the video hyperlinks that you are licensing.
Multiple Year Contracts
Q: Are multiple year contracts available?
A: Yes, we currently offer 2 and 3 year contracts which include discounts in the 2nd and 3rd year.
Video Viewing Metrics
Q: How do career centers track video views?
A: Your school’s custom admin page clearly lists the total number of videos viewed for your school as well as the total number of video views for EACH video.
Q: How often can we see the viewing metrics?
A: They are available 24-7. You simply log into your school’s admin page to see them.
Installation of Videos
Q: Where do we get the videos for our career center website?
A: We set up a custom admin page for your career center which includes the video links as well as your viewing metrics.
Q: Are the videos easy to install on our career center website?
A: Yes, the steps are simple and straight forward. There is literally one line of html code per video which your web developer places on in the MULTIPLE recommended locations.
Q: Do you guide career centers with the set up?
A: Yes, we send schools a Best Practices document which outlines how to display the videos for optimal results. We are also available for phone and/or email support to answer questions.
Marketing Materials
Q: Do you provide marketing materials to the schools?
A: We provide suggested marketing language for career center flyers, newsletters, and such. Most schools prefer to create the actual marketing materials themselves, since they know how to reach their students.
